I have a user who connects to the Internet through AOL and sends mail through our server. Lately (past week or so) he's been having problems sending (but not receiving e-mail). When ever he tries to send, Outlook Express gives him the following error message:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail was (hidden) Subject test account: mail.kalnet.net server: mail.kalnet.net protocol SMPT server response 550 5.7.1 (hidded)... relaying denied IP Namelookup failed (172.154.2.78) port: 25 Secure (ssl): no, server error 550, error no: 0x800ccc79. He has SMTP authentication enabled and we've tried specifing the username/password and using the same one as for his pop account. He receives this error no matter who he sends to, me, himself or somebody outside my server. I have other users who connect through DSL, cable, other ISPs and they all use SMPT authentication just fine.
