Sorry all - I was away from the list for a couple of days. Previous versions of the installation should definitely not interfere with operation. I'm finished saying that I've "found" the problem, so this time I'll just say that I may have.
The program requires a library, mscomctl.ocx, that everyone may not have. I've put it online at http://www.turner3d.net/MSCOMCTL.zip - unzip the .ocx file into the managers' installation folder and see if that works for you. If it does, I'll repackage the distribution.
