Yes, they do, but I don't want to have to go to Exchange. The problem is
that when checking mail through their  pop3 client, it doesn't delete, mark
as read, etc., any of the messages back on the office computer. I'm thinking
(hoping) that if I run Imail as an IMAP server & can get to my webmail page,
I won't have to maintain 2 "separate" mailboxes.

Don't blackberries have their own pop3 client? I know City Hall here uses
them with exchange (this is why they got rid of Novell) and my friend who
works there gets his mail in what looks like a pop3 client.
