Mike -

We have been using the Blackberry web client which queries our pop server
and then when messages are deleted from the Blackberry they are deleted
from the web client. We also have the Blackberry web client set to leave
messages on the server while the desktop pop3 client removes them.

By doing this --

When not in the office -- all email goes to the Blackberry, AND a remains on
the server to be retrived by the pop3 client on the desktop.

When in the office -- Email is retrieved by the pop3 client on the desktop
and a minimal number of messages get to the Blackberry. We set the desktop
pop3 to check for messages every 2 minutes and the Blackberry web client
check every 15 minutes or so. Occasionally the Blackberry Web client will
pull down a message before the pop3 client.

Not perfect, but it's the best I can do and it worls for my users.
