There  is  no  reason to "fool" IMail regarding the spool location, as
Scott  mentioned.  Spool and domain paths are configurable through the
GUI.

Other fixed paths, such as the web spool and per-domain web files, can
be  relocated  using  NTFS  mount  points.  We've  done  this  without
incident.
