Several viruses have come out in the past few weeks which have beaten Symantec to the punch. To try to cut down on the number slipping through the a-v plugin for Imail, I have a message rule set up which blocks emails with extensions of exe, pif, scr, bat, and even zip (thanks to the encrypted variety).
B~filename=.*\.exe!OR!B~filename=.*\.pif!OR!B~filename=.*\.scr!OR!B~filename=.*\.bat!OR!B~filename=.*\.zip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Last week, a couple got through with the old .com extension so I tried adding filename=.*\.com to the rule. The problem with this is that any message with an attachment of any kind and a link to a website or email address ending in .com within the message gets dumped. Using Imail's built in message rules, is there any way to block .com attachments? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
