I just saw the post about the nested folders, and indeed this seems to have solved the issue. I was the only user with a pretty big mail box structure (nested folders, nearly 4gb of data). Once I moved the nested folders out of my mail directory (the nested folders were about 1gb of data), all seems to be working fine now.
