I am running Imail 8.1hf1 on Win2k3 using dual Intel Gigabit nics teamed
going to a cisco Gigabit switch.

The server is a dell 2650 w/ 2 2.6ghz Zeons and 1gb ram. It also is an AD
server, DHCP, WINS, and DNS as well.

Have had no issues with IMAIL performance. (Outside of the fact I still
cannot get LDAP working in 8.1. Ipswitch techs are on the case.)

I am a small fry though only 135 users. Everything works great.

Hello Christopher,

CC> Intel GB NIC - on GB switch

Are you saying that you're successfully running Imail on an Intel GB
NIC? We're still at 7.13 because it's stable. Had planned to go to
8.x if Imail had resolved the mysterious NIC issue because servers now
have Broadcomm/Intel GB NICs and we're using GB switches.

Anyone else using GB NICs without problem on high volume (250,000+/day)
installations?

Best regards,
 David mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
