Note that ASSP is sending and receiving mail just fine, and is properly returning acknowledgements to users when they send email spam reports.
I've tried quite a few things but it's still not working. ASSP forum users suggested that my mail-from address in ASSP is in a bad format, but I fiddled with these awhile with no problems.
The ASSP Log shows this
03-Apr-3-04 01:24:03 FSabort: rcpt Expected 250, got: 501 bogus mail from
The SMTP Log shows this:
04:03 01:24 SMTPD(0050025A) [127.0.0.1] HELO ASSP-nospam 04:03 01:24 SMTPD(0050025A) [127.0.0.1] bogus address in MAIL FROM: <>
If I remove the entry for "Address to CC all Spam", these errors go away, but of course I still have no place that "all Spam" is arriving.
Any suggestions out there? (BTW assp is nonetheless a great anti-spam product, and it's free at assp.sourceforge.net).
