I have had a few customers complain that some mail is being bounced back or not making it to them from certain domains. Most of them are on my main domain tymewyse.com and some from a virtual domain. Everyone I have received mentions RFC822. My questions are:
1) Does RFC822 have to do with reverse DNS?
No, RFC822 does not have anything to do with reverse DNS. RFC822 just covers the format of E-mails.
However, you may have seen something like "multipart/rfc822" or something like that, which indicates the MIME type (rfc822 in this case would indicate a full original E-mail).
2) If so would they have rejected it because reverse DNS
That's possible. But it appears that you have reverse DNS for the IP your mailserver is sending from.
3) Being that the first one is from my main domain and the only reverse DNS pointer is for that domain why would it fail.
Just so long as you [1] have a reverse DNS entry, and [2] the hostname of that reverse DNS entry points back to the same IP, you're fine. Don't worry about anything beyond that -- some fanatics will do odd things, but if you try to appease one, you'll get the wrath of another.
4) The bottom notice is from a virtual domain which I have several RDNS pointers for is there a way to change this?
I'm not sure where reverse DNS comes into play here.

This means that they couldn't send the mail to you -- but they don't say why.
> Status: 4.4.7 Unable to contact host for 0 days, 6 hours
This one shows that they only tried for 6 hours, which isn't very long. Given that your DNS appears fine, I would suspect a problem on their end (unless your mailserver was down for 6 hours or longer).
