That could also explain why we've had no problems. We've been using Dell 1650's with the Broadcom GB NICs, and Pix 515s, with no problems for 3 years now. As far as my understanding of hardware goes, the only thing responsible for 'knowing' its an Intel/3com/Broadcom NIC is the driver in Win2K3. The TCP/IP stack is abstracted away from this, and Imail abstracted layers further from this and shouldn't have problems with any kind of network card, as long as Windows is talking to it properly.
