Check for the latest embedded mother board drivers ... I've had to install
several BIOS and embedded mother board firmware and then update the drivers
in win2k.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Dell 2650 server problem

Hi

We have a weird problem in our Imail server that so far I've able to trace
it to the Dell server. here's the scoop. when we were running 7.15 all was
perfect. Once we upgraded to 8.x we started to have the SMTP server crash,
CPU at 80% to 100% and the famous 10054 errors. We fix some errors on the
registry (dup ip addresses and orphan domains), reinstall imail, change the
LAN card to a 3Com 3c996 as per tech support.

We then moved Imail to a clone PC so we can format the server and so we
can do an install from scratch and reinstall Imail and notice that the PC
was running fine compare to the Dell (CPU is at 30% thru 80% with peaks at
100%) and the SMTP doesn't crash.

Once we formatted the Dell and reinstall the software on the Dell, same
result. It didn't matter if we turn off Declude, the SMTP would still
crash. Right now Imail is running on the PC. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Hector.
