I'm the network admin for a company that employs about 130 people and two domains. We've been using our ISP and pop mail since I've been here and I finally talked the higher ups into letting me bring the email services in house. MS Exchange was ruled out because it was too expensive, so I have been testing Imail since version 7.
I like the KWM interface and IMAP seems to work well with Outlook Express. I've got the Symantec AV installed and spam filtering set up and so far I just have a few users testing it out for me and it seems to be running great. The server is a SuperMicro with dual 2.4GHz Xeons, Ultra 160 SCSI and 512MB RAM. (I may double that). After being a member of this list for a few weeks, I've been feeling a little discouraged reading about all the problems I could face when I take this baby live. (version 8.05) Overall , do you think Imail is a good choice? I spent two years making my case for this.
