Dear All
Problem
Have one domain serving students and teachers at a school. Staff need staff addresses
listed in the common addresses but students should not have access to these.
Possible solution
All student userids have a year code before the username (02jsmith etc). Is it
possible to check the userid for this year code to determine if the common addresses
should be displayed? I have come up with a simple if statement that checks the userid
but can not locate where in the code for the address book I should place this. Can
anyone here help? I know the simpliest solution would be to add another domain and
have a sepearate Config_Commonaddrbook.cgi file in the web folder of the new domain
but staff at the school would like to keep the same address for staff and students.
