Let  me  rephrase that for you: "I have broken scripts that use a null
sender inappropriately."

Which means that they can all be fixed.

In-house applications that use null senders to send notifications have
nothing  to  do  with  the central null sender issue. I think you know
this, but are throwing this wrench in for trolling purposes.
