I'm an Imail admin, and I want to tweak my server a bit in the
spam-filtering capacity.

Truth be told, I don't understand a lot of the dynamics (at this time)
of the antispam service, but I'm willing to experiment with its
effectiveness. One side-effect may be that the user receives more spam
than typical. However, I'd like to make my settings as sterile as
possible, so I have a good set of results to ponder over.

The problem is that there are so many factors. Finding a user that's
capable of acting as the control group, or finding someone who receives
a lot of spam, or finding a good marriage between those two options. or
worse, finding someone that doesn't use hyperbole to describe their spam
(some are embarassed to get a lot and diminish the number, while others
get a few and complain loudly).

So if you were testing, would you inform some users that an experiment
is going on?

Secondly, and to replace the first option, would you recruit someone to
measure spam for you?
