I have a situation where a user is trying to send mail to a domain that has
2 mail servers listed in the MX record. The primary mail server, I am told,
is blocking port 25 for all but a few select IP addresses and we are NOT one
of the few who are allowed to connect. Whenever I try to send mail to anyone
at this domain I get a 421 error in the logs and the message is sent back
after 25 attempts. It never tries the secondary mail server when sending
mail. IPswitch says it should work this way so is the destination mail
server setup at fault? The only way I can see to fix this would be a host
file entry for the secondary mail server.

The domain we are trying to send mail to is: business.queensu.ca

I was wondering if anyone has ever come across a situation like this.
