I'd say that any app that implements SPF checking becomes an anti-spam
app at that point, no?

Think  of  Declude  as  the plug/patch for IMail. You have to remember
that  IMail  is  a  commercial  product, and it's unlikely (though not
impossible)  that  they  would  use the existing SPF C libraries, Perl
modules,  etc.  Likewise, Declude doesn't bundle open-source stuff, as
they've written their own implementation.

Anyway,  my  feeling  is  that  Ipswitch should work first on actually
allowing  envelope  rejection  for  _any_ envelope-only tests. At that
point,  it  would  be more worthwhile to make SPF one of the available
tests.  We're currently dumping mail on SPF FAIL (and taking no action
on  non-FAIL, for reasons that have been pretty well established), one
of  only  a  couple of tests that we trust that much. Without envelope
rejection, though, that summary deletion isn't so satisfying.
