Hi,

We're having a problem with the CMDSPACE test flagging email from our own
hosting accounts. Scott has recommended we whitelist our own clients, but
that's not so easy. We don't provide connection services, so we can't
identify an IP address space. We host a lot of accounts, and the list
changes frequently, so it would be hard to list all of our clients by domain
name (not to mention that we would then have to apply this whitelist to each
of our clients that uses the spam filtering service). So this becomes a
management nightmare. Is there some other way around this problem? Or
should I just kill the CMDSPACE test altogether?

Actually, I'm not quite sure why this problem occurs. We didn't have this
with the older version of Declude, and I'm assuming this is because the test
wasn't used then? If so, what does this does actually look for? And, more
to the point, why does it get stuck on our own clients?

Thanks,

Ben
