Well that certainly sheds some light!
It looks like a bounce mail.
But, shouldn't it end up in [EMAIL PROTECTED]'s mailbox as non-deliverable?

These are most likely bounces that can't be delivered due to forged sending addresses.

When searching the logs, search for

2cf007060120651f

instead of

D2cf007060120651f.SMD

Subject: [IMail Forum] Leftover Imail files

Hi all,

Been having an odd issue for a few months now and I was hoping to get your opinions.
Running Imail 8.12.
We average about 15000 emails a day.
And, on average, there are between 50-100 files left over daily.
I wondered if this was caused by any type of spam features, so I disabled them all for the past few hours.
But, there are still files left behind.
Below is a snapshot of the folder and what Decludes spool viewer shows at the same time.
The Imail queue shows 1 email waiting.
Also, the files do not show up in any of the logs!
No virus scanning is done on the spool folder.

Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing all these leftover files?

Dave
