On of our IMail server should act as an AntiVirus and AntiSpam Gateway for an external
server.
This is quite common. Many of our customers are doing this (with Declude Virus and Declude JunkMail Pro).
To realize this, i visited the support site and i found two KB articles.
IMail - How to Setup IMail as an Anti-Spam Gateway http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20030509-DM01.htm
IMail - How to use IMail as SMTP Gateway for another e-mail server http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19980116-DM01.htm
It looks quite simple and straight forward.
Are you doing this for a server of your own, or are you doing it for customers/clients? If it is for customers/clients, you may want to consider using fully featured anti-spam/anti-virus programs with IMail.
