Most of these people are internal.  I just sent out a mass email to our
regional field people letting them know what to look at.  Hopefully it
works.  Thank you all for your help.  I'll let you know how it goes.

solution "my server requires authentication" and "use same setting as my
incoming mail server"  works.

If they're mobile and use certain ISP's then they have to change "use same
setting as my incoming mail server" to "logon using" and then provide their
ISP/Internet account and password. Some ISP's have removed the ability to
relay unless authenticated.
