I have a customer (library) who gets automated notifications of books being
requested from other libraries, and the emails are not coming through.

09:17 08:30 SMTPD(0694010C) [0.0.0.0] connect 205.247.101.14 port 3933
09:17 08:30 SMTPD(0694010C) send error 10054
09:17 08:30 SMTPD(0694010C) send error 10054

The one thing to check on your end is the SMTP Control Access file -- if you have that IP listed (or an IP range that that IP is in), then you could see this behavior.
