I am in the process of choosing a new mail server for our organization. I'm
looking along the lines of a Compaq/HP DL380 G4 with Win 2003 OS, dual 3.2
Xeon processors, 2 gig of ram, a pair of 36.4 hds in raid 1 for the OS and a
pair of 300 gig hds in raid 1 for IMail. We are a 24x7 - 365day shop with
500 users so I'm wondering if this is overkill or not enough for Imail. I
would not want this setup to lag under load and to last 5 years. Any
ideas???
