Marcel,

Not sure....

By any chance is IMail installed in a path that has a "space" in it? I
recall some delivery time problem when one installed to "Program
Files\IMail" and it may still exist.

Some time ago another person indicated he had a very similar problem
(queue sending every minute, not the minimum 10 minutes or any other
setting), but I don't recall a solution ever being found or reported.

Cannot hurt to try setting it to be 10 times longer than what it
currently is, just to see what happens?

Can you see any "queue run XX" messages in the log? If not, then
enable SMTP logging and restart the service. Check again in about 10
minutes or longer. How often are they being shown?

Does some know a solution (or workaround) for this problem?
Now it seems to be that every minute a queue run is being started, so
288 times is approx. 5 hours.

While this does not help you, I also experienced this problem when a
client my server is a gateway for lost their phone lines and internet
connection over a weekend. Queue Manager retry timer was set for 30
minutes and SMTP tries before returning to sender was 96. We started
seeing bounce/returns after 12 hours.

This is on Imail 8.12.
