Hi all, I have some problems using the SMTP retry timer. I would like to store (temporary) undeliverable email for at least 2 days (2880 minutes). I would like to have a queue run every 10 minutes, so the number of tries has to be 288 (288*10=2880).
I have configured: [Queue Manager] / Retry Timer (minutes) : 10 [SMTP] / Tries before returning to sender: 288 Imail v. 8.05 My email is returned in about 5 hours, instead of 2 days. The queue run happens almost every minute, instead of every 10 minutes. What is going wrong here? I've already found out in the KB that some other people have the same problems, but didn't find a solution.
