The problem isn't HTML attachments, it's with "Content-Type: message/rfc822"
attachments, and NO. That's a bad solution. If you told your Doctor it hurts
when you pee, you aren't going to appreciate a therapy suggestion of "Don't
pee".

Just got this, fwiw.

It's in reference to the very dangerous <feature> of Webmail displaying
HTML
attachments instead of the text body of ANY message (that has a text
body
and an html attachment). It was reported to IPSwitch October 28, 2004,
and
not fixed in 8.14 and not fixed in 8.15. I have no idea what the
speculations should run, but I'd suggest nobody hold their breath.

Our testing department acknowledges that, you are correct about what Web
Messaging does.

This will be fixed. I cannot share speculations about when this will
