That's really not going to help with his POP3 issue, now. Is it? Dan

This is usually a problem where the clients ISP, RoadRunner in this case, has locked their users into only sending through their(RoadRunners) SMTP servers. This is becoming a common practice among some of the larger ISPs so that all messages from their networks come through their mail servers so that they can control the amount of SPAM coming from their IP Ranges. Have the client contact his local RoadRunner support line and ask what the SMTP server for his location is and have him use that as his outgoing server to see if that rectifies the issue. Have a client with email issue...he can login through browser interface and send and receive mail. He has set up the same account using Outlook on his computer and gets no mail and can send no mail. His ISP is Road Runner. His domain is listed as cattlepromotions.com. I have checked the log files and been on the phone with him while I sent a message. I can see where I sent the message and he says he checks, but there is nothing in the log saying he had received the message. I'm at a loss, but I think its a Road Runner issue now. Any other suggestions? --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Advertinet Inc.] To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
