So in order to have run Imail/Windows as a stable and reliable pair there should be somewhere this information. In my optionen it should be a separate chapter in Imails manual and not hidden in deep a mail-archve.
I've wrote this message today also to be sure that I'm not missing something. Maybe other admins on this list having the same problems (and 3com-NICs ;-) can check out if it will solve the problem completely?

Better yet, modifying the registry should be part of the installation process especially in a case like this where "one size(setting) fits all".
