1. You did not post the entire log of the communication with AOL servers for that message. What you posted is part of their HELO message. The line that would indicate why the message was rejected is about 5 lines down.   2. Any AV can scan the mail box files, and then it will quarantine or delete them. OUCH! You do not want to be touching the mail box files. You need to scan it right after Imail SMTPD receives the message. There are 4 most used configurations: a) IMGate b) Declude c) MXGuard d) Imail rules and AV and AntiSpam. Many of us use a combination of more than one of those.   3. If so, does this happen through our ISP, who holds all of our MX records? (I think)   2nd question...   Our Imail server has NO 3rd party SPAM protection nor a server based Anti-Virus. What's the most common and effective anti-spam/anti-virus software that works well with Imail V. 8.05HF3 and checks mailboxes rather then flat file scans?   Disclaimer: I'm not a Imail expert. At best, I'd consider myself a novice.
