What difference will that make? If ISP's start using 587 then it will
only be a matter of time - if it's not already happening - that
spammers send out the same spam to 587 as well. Now we will have twice
the amount of spam (port 25 AND port 587) and Imail still has to
reject/accept mail sent directly to it bypassing IMGate.

The only solutions that I see is an SMTP proxy and having Imail only
accept mail from this proxy.
Isn't this they way all big providers like AOL etc. does it?
