we don't bounce anything anymore for this very reason. I have taken to trusting spamcop and spamhaus for instant deletion though. As I mentioned earlier, if you're on those lists then you better get it fixed.

That's a great way to get YOU blacklisted, you spammer!

If it's not acceptable at receipt, REJECT it.

If it's determined later to be junk, DELETE it.

Bouncing spoofed email back to the poor sucker whose email has been spoofed
is EXTREMELY irresponsible. Change ALL those rules to DELETE immediately.
Some folks (myself included) object to being spammed, even from mail-admins
that didn't "create" the original message. You DID "create" the NDR and it's
just spam, plain and simple.

So you have it listed under 'Trusted DNS Blacklists' in IAdmin?

Well, not in IMail. IMail doesn't BOUNCE a blacklisted host's
messages prior to receiving the body of the message. That lends to
say that IMail probably does not check the RBL list upon SMTP
connection either. I could be wrong on this point. Therefore, one is
only left with placing blacklists in the 'DNS Blacklists (insert
X-Headers)' box and leaving IMail to insert an X header. Then bounce
the message based on a rule. If IMail could bounce a message from a
blacklisted host upon SMTP connection, you wouldn't have to waste
the extra bandwidth of accepting the entire message into the server.

The other two MTA's I'm currently using bounce blacklisted messages
back to the 'MAIL FROM' upon SMTP connection.

Might try adding relays.ordb.org. Doesn't catch much for me because
of other lists I have above this one. However, it is a tried and
  trusted open relay blacklist.
