Two IMAP newbie question:

1) When using the qmail-type Maildir format on the mailserver and when the
user creates subdirectories from an IMAP-capable MUA (such as e.g. KMail)
must the directory structure on the mailserver have to be of the form:

Maildir/.Stuff
Maildir/.Stuff.SubStuff
Maildir/.Stuff.SubStuff.SubSubbstuff

or does the IMAP-standard allow a traditional unix hiearchie? In case the
former structure is imposed, is that for compability or for performance
reasons?

2) Useres expect to be able to drag and drop entire folders (with subfolders)
in their MUAs. To what extent is drag and drop supported by the IMAP
standard?
