Another of mine wet dreams involves Charlize Theron, and it's much
more easier to come true, I fear. ;-)

No: the imdbID fields in the database are populate once the db is
used (on-line, so that the "real" imdbID can be retrieved and
associated to a movie/person/whateverID internally used by the db).
So it's normal, if there's no data, yet.
