Thats one of the things that seem to be missing in IMDb data...and
that is contact numbers. ;-)
Well at least I come from here country of origin.

Ok, on the serious note.

Firstly,
I managed to do a proper import of all latest plain text data into sql.
What I noticed immediately is that the imdbID I saw previously using
'web' accessSystem is not the same id's I see now that I have a local
sql db.
So I am not 100% sure what you mean by "...(on-line, so that the
"real" imdbID can be retrieved and associated to a
movie/person/whateverID internally used by the db...".
I have some data (not much) that stored, with my previous 'web/mobile'
accessSystem, and I used imdbID as a ref id, as a ref to a movie. Once
I switched to accessSystem: sql, the IDs dont match anymore. (ID of
what movie it used to refer to now references a different movie.)

Secondly,
I notice that some movie (titles) that have the "plot"/"plot outline"
detail in web/mobile accessSystem do not appear to have any sql db.
Could this be that it was updated recently and not available in plain
text version? (I actually tried a few)

Thirdly,
I have logic for getting the "cover url" and "headshot". It works fine
in web/mobile accessSystem but nothing is returned when using local
sql accessSystem.
Am I missing something in this one.

Hope this is not to much to ask. I am trying to get my head around the
switch from web/mobile to sql accessSystem. And I see quite a few
differences. So I am trying to see how I can fix those or at least
provide alternative solutions for a production environment in mind.

I read this few days ago. Would be a great idea. Has there been enough
interest shown in requesting this feature?
