It could work. BUT it takes enforcement. And since theres little of that, that is why it will fail. The RAAI is going after people and has caused some users to stop in illegal music/movie theft . Thats due to the fact they are enforcing it. And its in the news. It won't cure it all but it cures some. And some is better than NONE. And you have to go after the haven's that provide the access. Not just a oops once access but continued access to spew out this spam crap and do nothing about it. If the asian countried can't get mail to their usa businesses partners/offices etc oh well guess you should stop the spam too. It takes constant pressure and exposure. Take those on this list, and say the postfix list and other ISP lists and if those members hammered pc world, cnn, time, the big newspapers and internet "papers" etc about how so and so is a haven for spammers and now 5000+ ISP's were going to send any mail from their ips to the black hole it would bring it to light and these jack asses would do something about it. Cuz when grandma can't get her email with pics of grandboy she is going to be pissed. and when John business man can't get his emails to his clients he's gonna get pissed. Problem is there are two many pussies out there that worry about someone yelling at them. YELL BACK and tell them to tell their daughters/sons to call up and tell these SOB's to get their dns's right and stop providing homes to spammers. And when they are used as spam launch sites to go after the lowlife scumbags as AOL has done on a few occassions. the fact that the spammer(s) have taken down a few RBL show that we have had a effect on their ability to get spam thru. we cut them now its time to run them thru. Lets not wait till 1/1/2004. Lets do it now. Semper FI do or die, null route them and let the ISP's sort them out (kill them all and let GOD sort them out !) > So don't turn off your IMGate machines just yet. :) > turn them off my ass. fire up some more man !!!!! Imgate machines for everyone !!! (on len of course :-) Mark
