If you import buildings, it is not sufficient to simply download existing buildings with Overpass and check that there are no overlaps! You also want to make sure that the imported buildings do not overlap with other things - e.g. a road that has been mapped - and if that happens you want to use an additional data source to establish who is right, the import data set or the street (or other object) that was already there.
