There is a germ of truth in Christoph's stat This import is not the first contact of NavAds with OSM editing. The first one was a proposed import of Aral petrol stations in Germany (only two stations were missing). The second one was done by a different contractor than the first one and failed miserably [1]. At least parts, maybe even the whole import was reverted due to wrong tags and a lack of transparency, discussion and documentation. It was considered as search engine optimisation. We should keep in mind that NavAds's business is to improve the visibility of its customers and OSM is only platform among a few dozens of platforms they want to serve.
