The data in OSM is "live", anyone can grab a copy at any time. Someone could grab a copy while the duplicates exist (even if they only exist for a short time), and they will probably not be aware of your project, and thus unbeknownst to them, they will have bad (duplicate) data. Further, they may not have plans to update that data frequently, or ever. Mike > >
