Hello James, I have tried to send a sample. But it seems I cant send a message above 40kb. The first columns of our collected data are similar as OSM and we added a couple more specific to our research. The idea would be to remove the project-specific columns (and the features that already exist in the OSM base=those with OSM ids) before uploading.

As the project involves collection of data in remote areas of certain points of interest and street networks of road and pedestrian access, the team is interested to share the data with the OSM community after field data collection. The data collection appends to an OSM baseline data what our researchers collect on the field. The quantity of data is relatively small, with a couple of thousand nodes per each research fieldwork which includes items such as schools, health centres and official buildings and a number of pedestrian paths. As such, we would like our web platform to automatically or semi-automatically upload our data to OSM. As we have relatively little data per each field collection it is not entirely clear after consulting the OSM guidelines what would be the ideal option to share our data. We would be happy to receive advice form OSM on what would be the best practice for how we can share the data.
