I guess then that you've never seen forged addresses. Nor do you allow
your customers to send out mail with return addresses for other valid
inboxes they have. For example, they are working from home using your
service, and wish to send out a business email that would be replied to
at their work address.

Yes? And? That's my whole point! Customers connected to your dialup ports
should
ONLY be allowed to send email through your smtp server, or not at all.

They should
not be allowed to run their own smtp service behind a dialup connection.
There is no
valid reason to do so. The only reason would be to hide something from
you, such as
spamming. And blocking port 25 from your dialup addresses also prevents
viruses that
have built in smtp service from spreading.
