Sure, Pent II 300mhz 256 MB RAM NT4 sp 6.a Handling around 350,000 emails/day During typical usage (including at crash time), taskman shows minimal ram in use, and around 140 threads in use.
Using SMTPRCV v.45, .48, and your recompiled version, none will stay running more than 6 hours without crashing, often crashing within minutes of restarting. I have run SMTPRCV on two seperate system, the problem happens on both. On my test system where I currently have it running, it is a clean install; no scsmfilter or plugins running, only SMTPRCV and SMTPDS. Typically, version .45 will simply stop responding to connections but the service itself indicates it is running, no error messages. 48 and Klint's will produce DrWatson errors. Also, the service manager typically can not stop or restart the service (both buttons greyed out), and a reboot is needed to correct the problem.
