I have mine set to "trash" also, there are a few messages/month that seem legit,
but get caught by the filter.  There are also a few messages/month that make it
through the filter and will blow up certain Outlook clients when they try to
download them with Pop3.  And when I look at the messages there are usually
several places that have LF (0A) without the preceeding CR (0D).  If I remove 
the
message everything starts working again.  And only specific mail clients seem to
have problems with these messages.
