I also have used it successfully for over 8 years.
    Using IMS as a front end for Exchange is an interesting idea.  It would 
make admin of
user folders/messages easier.  Also keep in mind that Exchange does have a POP3 
service
that can be used for clients that do not wish to use Outlook as a client.  This 
may allow
you to have a mixture of those who use the CRM software and have to use a true 
Exchange
client with those who choose to use Eudora, or other.
        Just some added thoughts.
