It wouldn't be difficult.

But in your case (and mine, with receivers in front of ims) spam trap is
not worth bothering with. The point of it is to temporarily ban ip
addresses from sending more spam to your server.  With the gateways,
that address is not able to be determined without receiving the entire
message first. So the benefit you get from banning the IP is negated by
having to receive the message in entirety anyway.
