can't write to pop3 log file , sending multiple copies of message.

Over the weekend stopped sending/receiving.  I had messages with x’s in the id #.  I had run out of disk space.  Also, in event viewer I’m getting “can’t write to e:\spooler\pop3log\090505.log, logging temporarily disabled”.  I popped the service and seems to be happy, but in some instances multiple copies of messages are being sent out.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  NT4,SP6.
