My experience with applecare - I have bought a refurbished macbookpro from us with one year warranty and added a 3 yr applecare for almost half the list price from macmall USA ; had problems with the logic board was attended to and got it replaced free of cost in india at ample technologies chennai. applecare is honored worldwide, as far as my experience goes. do not buy any apple product without applecare.
