Hi! I have a Macbook running OS 10.6.8, and I need to connect it to the wi-fi network here at my parents house. It is a BSNL broadband connection with a ZTE modem/router. My mac connects to the network, but is not able to connect to the Internet.
The network has no security password, I'm using MAC filtering instead to prevent misuse. I believe it is an always-on connection. The main desktop runs Ubuntu. How can I solve this? (I seem to be having a similar issue with my new HTC One-V, which connects to the network but not to the Internet). Thanks for any answers.
