With due respect to the community members who have a role to play as Sun employees as well as are community contributors and delicately balance the roles without getting it mixed up, considering opensolaris.org as an extension of the office desks and making non-transparent decisions is very un-community like. This is not yet a community decision (as mentioned on ogb mailing list) when this is the first time it is being discussed on any community forum. Let the legitimacy be established *after* going through appropriate discussions on the opensolaris forums. It is not good to leverages the positions of any of the individuals before this happens. The topic on "The OpenSolaris distro" is likely to cause unnecessary bad blood. OpenSolaris community is still young to withstand such political controversies. What are the benefits seen in a move? ~Shiv _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
