Now I see what you mean. Don't make too much of it. I've managed to get it 
running 
and wrote some documentation that works. But I've only installed it at one site 
(my childrens school library) yet.

You're jumping to conclusions ;-). I've almost never used Linux. I've been 
running 
UNIX since mid 80's and almost always on some version of SunOS.
But, as a matter of fact, I'm just now trying to set up Koha on Ubuntu (Hardy) 
and 
make some documentation on the differences vs OpenSolaris.

Koha is a very competitive library system which is liked by many. However it's 
a 
PITA to get it installed both on Solaris and Linux. Perl dependencies is a 
nightmare.
